Before you jump in, here are a few guidelines we ask you to follow to make sure everyone has a good time and feels safe. Crystal City is all about fair play, respect, and creating stories together. The better we treat each other, the more fun we’ll all have.
These rules help keep things fun, immersive, and respectful — so we’re all on the same page. By sticking to them, you’re helping build a space where creativity can really shine and where great stories come to life.
We take roleplay seriously, but we also want to keep the vibe friendly and laid-back. So, let’s keep it respectful and make this a place we all want to be.
Quick note: If the rules are ignored, you might get a warning, a temp ban, or even a permanent ban. But we’re all here to enjoy the game, so let’s make sure everyone has a great time!
Roleplay Rules
General Rules
Rules & Guidelines
These rules are here to keep Crystal City Roleplay fun, safe, and respectful for everyone. By being part of this community, you agree to follow them.
Stay Updated
It’s your responsibility to keep up with rule changes on our website or Discord. No excuses.
English Only in Public Chats
To maintain clarity and inclusivity, all public channels must use English.
Mic Required
You must have a working and clear microphone to participate.
Don’t Encourage Rule breaking
Hyping others to break rules makes you just as responsible. You’ll be punished too.
No Real-Life Heavy Topics
Suicide, terrorism, pandemics, or mental illness have no place in roleplay. Let’s keep things safe and respectful for everyone.
Respect Roleplay Boundaries
RP continues unless everyone agrees to pause or stop. If someone’s uncomfortable, talk it out and find common ground.
No Offensive Names
Don’t use inappropriate or explicit names anywhere on Crystal City Roleplay platforms.
No Slurs or Derogatory Language
Words like “retard” or any offensive slurs are not allowed. Use your words responsibly.
Content Creators Must Moderate
If you’re a content creator, make sure your community follows the rules. If your fans are out of line and you do nothing, it’s on you.
No Unapproved Advertising
Advertising external services, servers, or websites is not allowed without staff approval.
Stay In Character (IC)
You are expected to remain in character at all times—even during downtime or unusual circumstances (e.g., encountering a hacker or a rulebreaker). Continue the scene, report the issue afterward via proper channels, and never break immersion unless absolutely necessary.
Accountability
Know and follow the rules. It is your responsibility to know and follow the rules. Ignorance is not an excuse.
Respect and Maturity
Respect Everyone
Treat all players with respect. Discrimination, harassment, hate speech, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes (but is not limited to) racism, sexism, homophobia, and xenophobia.
Maturity
This is a serious roleplay server. Immature behaviour, trolling, or disruptive conduct is not welcome. When in doubt, ask a staff member before engaging in potentially inappropriate actions.
Roleplay First
All in-game interactions must be rooted in roleplay. Non-roleplay behaviour—such as trolling, random killing, or unrealistic actions—disrupts the experience and will result in disciplinary action.
Roleplay Rules
Metagaming, Powergaming & Torture RP
Metagaming
Metagaming is using information your character wouldn’t realistically know—like details from a stream, Discord, or name tags—to gain an advantage in-game. If your character didn’t learn it through roleplay, don’t use it. This breaks immersion and takes away from the experience for everyone else.
While in the city, you are not permitted to appear in livestreams (e.g., Discord, Twitch, Facebook Gaming, YouTube) of other players who are also in the city.
Intentional vs. Accidental Metagaming
Gaining an advantage through out-of-game communication—like texting friends to influence in-game events—is a serious breach of roleplay integrity. This form of deliberate metagaming disrupts immersion and creates an unfair environment, which is why it carries heavier consequences. In contrast, accidental metagaming—such as unknowingly using a character’s name before it's introduced—tends to be unintentional. While it’s still discouraged, we recognize that slip-ups happen. Ultimately, what matters most is the intent behind the action and how it affects the overall gameplay experience.
Power gaming
Power gaming is when you do things your character realistically couldn’t do, or you force actions on others without giving them a chance to react. It takes away from fair and fun roleplay. Stick to what’s possible within the game and always let others have a say in how the scene plays out.
Using the /me command in a way that forces roleplay outcomes in your favour, rather than leaving it open-ended for all parties involved, is considered a form of power gaming and is discouraged.
Unnecessarily escorting, cuffing, or carrying someone with the intention of gaining an advantage over a player who is not in a downed state is strictly prohibited.
Torture Roleplay
Torture roleplay is strictly opt-in and requires clear, mutual agreement from everyone involved before it begins. Consent must be explicitly communicated through a /me message to ensure all participants are on the same page. If, at any point, the person on the receiving end uses a /me (such as "/me I'm not okay with this") to express discomfort or revoke their consent, the scene must stop immediately—no debate, no continuation.
During combat situations, it is not permissible to use emotes (such as pass out, sleep, etc.) to gain an unfair advantage.
No Combat Logging
You must remain in-game during combat or roleplay scenarios. Disconnecting to avoid consequences is a bannable offense.
In the event of a game crash or disconnection, it is expected that players make an effort to reconnect to the server as soon as possible and resume their roleplaying scenario.
Fear RP
Respect the concept of fear. If your character is threatened, act as someone in real danger would. Don’t charge someone with a gun unless it’s believable for your character. If someone pulls a gun on you, you are expected to comply with their demands unless you have a realistic way to escape or counter the threat.
Realistic Injuries and Death
Do not instantly recover or respawn without roleplaying consequences. Hospital visits, wounds, and funerals are all part of maintaining realism.
New Life Rule
In Crystal City, characters do not 'die' unless a player decides to kill that character permanently, In the event of having to respawn, your character is considered to have been 'in a coma'
-
Triggered once you are incapacitated and respawn or are treated at the hospital, the cause of incapacitation is irrelevant.
-
Once a player becomes incapacitated, they cannot come back to the area of their death for 30 minutes and they cannot take hostile action against the party responsible for their death for 60 minutes.
-
If you are downed in a scenario and it has ended, you are not allowed to return to the area of the scene to collect evidence, loot bodies, etc.
Combat logging and Character Death
Deathmatch and Combat Étiquette
Deathmatch
Initiating Conflict
Violent encounters, including shootouts, must be rooted in proper roleplay. Before engaging in any aggressive action, you are required to initiate meaningful roleplay with the involved parties. Use clear verbal interaction to build tension, set the scene, and allow others the opportunity to respond. This approach leads to more dynamic storytelling and a richer, more immersive experience for everyone.
You are allowed to take action—whether to defend yourself or initiate an attack—if another player poses a direct threat. This includes attempts to harm you, damage your property, ignore warnings, or take clearly hostile actions. Even in high-stakes moments, quality roleplay should always come first.
Random Deathmatch (RDM)
You must have a valid in-character reason for any violence. Randomly attacking or killing players without proper roleplay build-up is prohibited.
Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)
Vehicles may not be used as weapons unless justified within a valid RP scenario, such as a high-speed chase or criminal escape.
No Revenge Killing
If you are killed in a roleplay situation, your character is presumed to have died or been incapacitated. Returning to the same location to kill the person responsible for your death (without proper roleplay justification) is not allowed.
Interactions with Law Enforcement & EMS
No Cop Baiting
Cop baiting, which involves deliberately provoking or enticing law enforcement into situations without proper roleplay, is strictly prohibited in Crystal City Roleplay. Actions like crashing into police vehicles to instigate a chase or create an unnecessary confrontation are disruptive and detract from the immersive experience. We expect all roleplay to be thoughtful, realistic, and contribute to the overall story.
Respect Authority and Engage in Lawful RP
In any roleplay community, law enforcement and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are key elements that help maintain realism and the safety of all participants. These roles are integral to the story and should be treated with respect and seriousness. Interactions with law enforcement or EMS should always be handled with professionalism and in the spirit of enhancing the roleplay experience.
Role of Law Enforcement
Law enforcement officers are vital to maintaining order, enforcing the rules, and adding depth to the narrative. They serve as both enforcers of the law and important characters in developing plotlines. Engaging with law enforcement characters should be done thoughtfully, as these encounters are an opportunity to create meaningful, complex stories that add to the overall roleplay experience.
Function of EMS
EMS personnel provide crucial medical services, responding to injuries or emergencies within the roleplay world. Their role adds realism by offering access to medical care, which can be pivotal for character development and storyline progression. Interacting with EMS characters should be done with respect, recognizing their importance in maintaining life and health within the game world.
Enhancing Roleplay with Law Enforcement and EMS
Both law enforcement and EMS characters play an essential part in bringing realism and urgency to the roleplay. Every interaction with these roles has the potential to deepen character arcs and enrich the narrative. By respecting and treating these encounters seriously, you contribute to a more immersive and credible environment for everyone involved.
Cheating & Exploiting
No Exploits
Using or taking advantage of client or server bugs is strictly forbidden in our community. Any form of exploit abuse will lead to a ban from the server. Furthermore, any items, perks, or progress gained through these exploits will be immediately removed.
Cheating & Unfair Modifications
To ensure a level playing field for all, using any form of modification or hack that provides an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, tools that alter game speed, disable night visuals, exploit gumballs, provide auto-healing, enable teleportation, or any other cheats.
Our community is built on the principles of fair play, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for cheating. Any player caught using such modifications will face an immediate permanent ban. Let’s keep the gameplay fair, fun, and competitive for everyone.
Serious Roleplay Expectations
Realistic Behaviour
To maintain immersion in Crystal City's setting, ensure character actions are realistic and appropriate. Avoid behaviours that are excessively exaggerated or unlikely, such as superhuman feats or overly childish antics.
No Childlike or Cartoonish Conduct
Guidelines for Mature Roleplay
we prioritize and nurture an environment focused on mature roleplay experiences. We believe that maintaining a certain standard is essential to preserving the immersive and engaging atmosphere that our community values. To ensure that all participants can enjoy a high-quality roleplay experience, please adhere to the following guidelines:
-
Act Respectfully: Always engage with others in a respectful manner. Understanding and empathy are crucial for creating a safe space where everyone feels comfortable contributing to the storyline.
-
Avoid Immaturity: Immaturity, whether through actions or dialogue, detracts from the experience. This includes making light of or joking in serious situations, which can disrupt the narrative flow and the emotional engagement of others.
-
Consistent Character Portrayal: Characters should be portrayed consistently and realistically. Unrealistic or erratic character behaviour can lead to confusion and break the immersion for other role-players.
-
Character Development
Characters should evolve in a way that feels natural and consistent with their established personality, experiences, and story arcs. Sudden or drastic changes in behaviour, personality traits, motivations, or backstory—without a clear and logical progression—can break immersion and are generally considered poor roleplay.
Communication Guidelines
Refusal to communicate with other players in English will result in a ban.
Players are free to communicate in any language, as long as it remains respectful and aligns with community rules. We value cultural diversity and encourage players to express themselves in the language they are most comfortable with, provided all participants are at ease with the conversation.
In-Character Chat
While in-character offensive language and threats are allowed as part of roleplay, players should understand that such actions may provoke a response from the other character, including potential hostility.
If a staff member determines that a player is using in-character speech to target another player with offensive language or harassment, they have the authority to intervene and ask the player to cease. Respect for others is important both in-character and out-of-character, and staff decisions regarding these matters are final.
Out-Of-Character Chat
Please reserve OOC (Out of Character) chat for essential, non-roleplay-related discussions. Keep roleplay interactions focused and immersive, avoiding any mixing of OOC talk with in-character conversations.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for offensive language, threats, and discriminatory remarks, including racism, in any context. Death threats directed at real individuals are strictly forbidden and will result in severe consequences.
Voice Changers
Voice changers are not allowed unless used as part of a justified in-character scenario, such as a disguise.
Players using low-quality microphones or voice changers that significantly affect voice clarity will be addressed through our ticket system. This process helps us determine whether the issue is unintentional and allows us to offer support or provide tips for improving clarity, especially when using voice changers.
Prohibited Behaviour
Property & Vehicles
Do not block access to roads, spawn points, or buildings without IC justification. Don’t abuse personal vehicles for unrealistic storage or transport. Do not use vehicles to block public roads, buildings, or entrances without a valid in-character reason. Blocking pathways for no reason is considered disruptive.
No Griefing or Trolling
Griefing (intentionally disrupting other players’ enjoyment) or trolling (purposely acting in a way to annoy others) will result in disciplinary action.
No Public Erotic Roleplay (ERP)
Explicit or sexual content is forbidden in public. This server maintains a mature yet respectful tone. No Scamming or Meta Abuse Abusing the game economy or RP mechanics for personal gain—especially through OOC information—is prohibited. Scamming or exploiting the roleplay systems (like finances or interactions) for personal gain is forbidden. Always keep your transactions realistic.
Character Integrity
Believable backstories only
Characters must have believable, grounded backstories. Characters should not be "perfect" or have exaggerated abilities. Create a story that fits within the world of Crystal City Roleplay and allows for character growth.
No Godmodding
Every character has weaknesses, limitations, and flaws that make roleplay realistic. Do not create an invincible character.RP-based character changes onlyCharacter changes must be justified via RP, not done randomly. such as changing your character’s backstory, appearance, or personality.
Immersion and Continuity
No Meta-Hunting
Do not target players based on OOC knowledge. This includes following players based on their online status or their roleplay actions from a previous session.
Treat scenarios seriously
Let scenes play out naturally
Avoid rushing. If you're involved in an in-game roleplay interaction (e.g., a police pursuit, a robbery, a medical emergency), try to maintain the roleplay until its conclusion. Do not rush through events just for the sake of moving on.
Player Interaction
Don’t Interrupt Scenes Without Cause
Players must not interrupt or insert themselves into active roleplay scenes unless they have legitimate in-character reason to do so.
Avoid interrupting major RP scenes like:
Police investigations
Medical emergencies
Staff situations
Private character arcs
If asked to leave an area comply.
Avoid Excessive Targeting
Avoid excessively targeting the same players without narrative cause. Constant pursuit of a single player can feel overwhelming and make the game unenjoyable.
Staff and Dispute Resolution
Respect the Staff
Staff decisions must be respected at all times, as they are made with the intention of maintaining a fair, safe, and enjoyable environment for everyone in the community.
While we understand that not every decision will be met with agreement, it's important to approach any concerns or disagreements in a respectful and constructive manner.
If you believe a decision was made in error or would like to present your side, please follow the appropriate appeals or feedback process as outlined by the community guidelines. Engaging with staff in a hostile, confrontational, or disrespectful way will not be tolerated and may lead to further consequences. By using the proper channels and communicating calmly, you help foster a more mature and cooperative atmosphere for everyone.
Conflict Resolution
Resolve disputes in-character where possible. If needed, use private messaging or official dispute channels. Public arguments are discouraged.
Reporting and Appeals
We aim to review and resolve reports as quickly as possible, typically within 48 hours. However, depending on the complexity or number of reports, it may take up to a week to fully process and address your concern. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Use Proper Channels
If you experience or witness any problematic behaviour, we ask that you report it through our Discord ticket system. Whether the incident is recent or from the past, the ticket system ensures your report is handled privately, fairly, and by the right staff members. This process helps us keep the community safe and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for speaking up and being part of the solution.
While using the /report command can be helpful for addressing in-game issues, it is important to note that it is not a replacement for the ticketing system
Provide Evidence
When filing a report, it’s essential to include all relevant details and evidence surrounding the incident. This should cover information like timestamps, involved players, and any supporting materials such as screenshots, videos, or chat logs. Providing clear and complete information ensures that our staff can accurately assess the situation and take the appropriate action.
Contacting Staff
To ensure clear communication and proper handling of community-related issues, please avoid sending direct messages to staff members. While our team is here to help, personal messages can lead to missed or delayed responses. Instead, use the official ticketing system for any concerns or support requests. This helps us keep everything organized and ensures your issue is addressed promptly and appropriately.
Respect Rulings
Gangs
Gangs
Gangs in our community are more than just vehicles for violence or constant conflict—they're an opportunity to tell compelling, original stories. We encourage players to think outside the box when creating and developing their gang concepts. Whether it’s building a distinct identity, focusing on specific goals, running unique operations, or forming alliances, there's plenty of room for creativity.
Rivalries and confrontations can add excitement, but they should be balanced with deeper narratives and meaningful interactions. Gang roleplay should enhance the world, not limit it—so don’t be afraid to innovate and bring something fresh to the table.
In our community, roleplay should always come first. Before resorting to violence or gunplay, players are expected to initiate proper roleplay and use verbal communication to build the scene. Even if tensions begin on social media or outside the game, conflicts should be brought in-game and addressed through face-to-face interaction whenever possible.
Dialogue-driven roleplay not only adds depth to your story but also creates a more immersive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Let the narrative lead the action—not the other way around.
Taxing Roleplay Standards
When engaging in taxing roleplay, especially while identifying or confronting individuals involved in specific jobs, players are expected to deliver thoughtful and immersive interactions. Rolling up to a job vehicle and pointing guns out of a car window demanding payment lacks depth and does not meet community standards. We encourage players to approach these scenarios with creativity and effort, building tension through roleplay and creating scenes that feel realistic and engaging. High-quality interactions not only improve the experience for everyone involved but also help maintain a rich and believable roleplay environment.
Staff reserve the right to disable taxing for a specific job if the profits being taken are deemed excessive or unreasonable. If the taxing disrupts balance or fairness within the server, it may be adjusted or removed to maintain a healthy and fair roleplay environment. (subject to change)
Crime
A maximum of five players may participate in any given criminal activity, with the exception of store robberies, which are limited to three participants. Keep in mind that "criminal activity" covers a broad spectrum of illegal actions—not just robberies. Whether it’s planning a heist, conducting a kidnapping, or running an illegal operation, these limits help maintain balance and ensure fair roleplay across the server.
Criminal scenarios are limited to no more than five active participant to maintain fairness and prevent overwhelming situations. Once a group initiates a criminal act, only those originally involved may participate until the scenario is fully concluded. This includes prohibiting additional individuals from providing information, acting as lookouts, or utilizing radio communications to influence the scenario. Furthermore, gangs are not allowed to take a scenario to their turf or near their turf if doing so would violate the 5-man rule.
No Fake Hostages
Fake hostages are not allowed in our community. When engaging in robberies or other criminal activities, it’s crucial to follow proper roleplay guidelines to maintain fairness and immersion. Using fake hostages disrupts the integrity of the roleplay, leading to confusion and diminishing the experience for everyone involved. NPCs, such as those behind counters, cannot be taken as hostages during roleplay scenarios. Only other player characters may be involved in such situations to maintain a realistic and immersive experience.
Independent Operations During Criminal Activities
When engaging in criminal activities, separate groups are not allowed to team up or pursue multiple objectives at the same time. Each group must focus on their own goals and follow their individual timers, ensuring that they operate independently without coordination or overlap with other groups.Six members from a gang cannot split up and do two separate stores at the same time
Prison Transport Scenarios
Prison transport events are considered distinct from the original arrest or incident. If you plan to intercept or attack a prison transport, you are permitted to form a new group of up to five players specifically for that action, separate from any prior involvement in the initial event.
Planning Criminal Activities
For heists and activities such as Drug Runs, Fleeca, Paleto Bank, and the Pacific Standard Vault, it’s essential that participants put effort into planning and executing a well-thought-out strategy. Simply evading the police by driving aimlessly until they lose sight of you lacks creativity and depth. To elevate the roleplay experience, we encourage players to craft detailed plans, explore multiple tactics, and approach each scenario thoughtfully. This not only enhances the excitement but also enriches the roleplay, leading to more immersive and engaging experiences for everyone involved. (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Cooldown Periods for Criminal Activities
After completing specific criminal activities, players must adhere to mandatory cooldown periods before engaging in another robbery or similar action. The cooldown times are as follows:
-
Store Robberies: 45 minutes
-
Vangelico Robberies: 90 minutes
-
Fleeca Robberies, Bank Trucks, and Drug Runs: 120 minutes
-
Paleto Bank: 180 minutes
These cooldowns are cumulative. This means if you participate in a Fleeca Bank robbery, you must wait for the full cooldown period before attempting any other activity that falls under the above categories. (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Robbing Other Players
Robbing other players is allowed, but it must be done with thoughtful, high-quality roleplay. Ensure there is a clear and justified reason for targeting the individual(s) involved. We encourage the use of roleplay commands like "/me takes cash from pockets" to enhance the scene and immerse everyone in the moment. While there’s no limit to how much you can take, remember that the focus should always be on creating an engaging and meaningful roleplay experience, not just the loot.
Scamming in Roleplay
Scamming is permitted, but it must be driven by in-game roleplay and not just for personal gain or to create unnecessary conflict. Before attempting any scam, ensure there is a valid roleplay reason behind it and that you are prepared to continue the roleplay after the scam is executed. Scamming purely for profit or to disrupt other players’ experiences without meaningful roleplay context is not allowed.Exploiting server functions or mechanics to gain an unfair advantage in a scam is strictly prohibited. Players are not allowed to take advantage of glitches, bugs, or any broken features to carry out scams. All scams must be conducted using only properly functioning game mechanics. (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
Interference with Active Robberies
Interfering with ongoing robberies that have an active police presence is prohibited, unless certain conditions are met. For example, if a group is carrying out a Pacific Standard heist, no other players are allowed to enter the bank without the express consent of those involved in the robbery. However, exceptions do exist: gangs are allowed to interfere with store robberies if the location is within their turf, and store owners have the right to act if their own business is being targeted.
Under no circumstances are players allowed to interfere in ongoing robberies based on the rationale of revenge, including instances where a friend may have been taken hostage.
Robbing Government Employees
Robbing government employees, including members of the Police Department (PD), Department of Justice (DOJ), and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), solely for the purpose of stealing their personal belongings is not allowed. We strive to maintain a respectful and fair roleplay environment, where all interactions are engaging and enjoyable for everyone. Government employees play crucial roles in the community, and targeting them solely for personal gain goes against the values of fair play and immersive storytelling.
Robbery and Criminal Activity Timing Restrictions
Engaging in robberies at Pacific Standard, Paleto Bank, Fleeca Banks, Bank Trucks or Vangelico’s Jewellery Store is not allowed during the 60 minutes leading up to a server restart, as well as the 30 minutes immediately following the restart. These restrictions are in place to ensure a fair and smooth experience for all players
No Criminal Activity Around Restart Times
To maintain stability and fairness during server transitions, all forms of criminal activity—such as house burglaries, drug sales, player robberies, and firearm usage—are not permitted within 30 minutes before or after a server restart. This cooldown period helps avoid disruptions and ensures a smoother experience for everyone involved.
In the event of an unscheduled server restart or server crash, you must wait for a period of 15 minutes before engaging in any criminal activities.
Universal Shooting Cooldown
A cooldown period of 90 minutes is required between any scenarios involving gunfire, no matter the type of situation. This rule ensures balanced pacing and gives space for meaningful roleplay between conflicts.
Major Heist Limitation
Players are allowed to carry out only one major criminal operation per server restart. Major job includes Paleto Bank heists.
Tunnel and Rooftop Ambushes
Engaging in tunnel shootouts or rooftop standoffs primarily to loot downed law enforcement is considered low-quality roleplay (LQRP). These tactics lack depth and realism, and are not in line with the immersive roleplay standards expected within the community.
Fail/Low Quality Roleplay (LQRP,FRP)
Understanding FailRP (Low-Quality Roleplay)
FailRP, or Low-Quality Roleplay, refers to behaviour that breaks immersion, lacks realism, or disrupts the overall experience for others. While creative expression is welcomed, actions that ignore basic roleplay standards or negatively impact the scene may result in disciplinary action. The goal is to foster believable and engaging storytelling—not shortcuts or exploits.
Examples of Fail RP Include:
-
Stripping vehicle modifications without any legitimate roleplay reasoning.
-
Ignoring roleplay prompts such as /me removes mask or /me grabs phone.
-
Acting unaffected after being seriously injured (e.g., giving clear instructions after being shot). Roleplay your injuries—scream, stutter, or remain silent if downed.
-
Using unrealistic methods to damage vehicles, such as using a taser to pop tires.
-
Watching shootouts from a distance just to spectate, with no roleplay purpose.
-
Robbing players or law enforcement without a solid roleplay setup or justification.
-
Repeatedly using the same location for shootouts in a short period of time.
-
Dumping vehicles in the ocean without a roleplay-driven reason or context.
Keeping your actions grounded in story and intention helps create a richer experience for everyone involved.
Custom Content
Must Be Pre-Approved
All mods and custom scripts must be pre-approved.
Don’t Alter Gameplay Without Permission
Visual mod packs (e.g., ReShade, ENB, Texture mods) must be purely cosmetic. Any mod that alters gameplay - such as improving visibility in ways that give you a competitive advantage (e.g., removing fog, enhancing night vision, highlighting players), modifying hitboxes, or affecting performance - is not allowed unless explicitly approved by server staff.
